Online faculty positions are easier to search for and find than ever before in history. That a pretty bold statement, and it should not be surprising that there might be just a few skeptics who think that online faculty position are hard to find and even harder to apply for these days. For those college teachers wishing they had, say, an extra grand in their pockets each month, or those college instructors who are completely out of work because of state budget cuts and need several grand a month just to stay afloat in the these perilous times of economic uncertainty, this is the golden period for landing multiple online faculty positions. The colleges and universities that now find themselves in the sorry position of not being able to accommodate the sheer number of recent students wanting a chair in a physical classroom is sincerely sad and almost tragic.
